I am Hylke Hoogland-Domahidi, a Dutch citizen residing in Romania. I am married to a Hungarian-Romanian woman and we have a child. I am not part of any group, except of course those where membership is not a choice, such as groups based on ethnicity, nationality, physical characteristics, gender, etc. I am neither left nor right. I have no business interests that influence the content of my articles. I built this website to publish opinion pieces and research that I believe add value to the public discourse. The articles will often address inequality, European integration and digital sovereignty, media malpractice, corruption, and lack of transparency in businesses and governments. The approach may sometimes be non-conformist. An opinion piece may include research, and a research article may include opinion. Where possible, I provide sources. The articles will be written in Dutch. The English versions are translated using European AI: Mistral. Comments, questions, or tips are very welcome via Threema.

How to check a version
- Download the text of a version, its Sigstore bundle and the PRISMX public key, prismx-versions.pub: prismx-versions.pub
- Compute the text's fingerprint. It must equal the fingerprint above and the hash in the Rekor entry:
sha256sum about-me-v6.txt - Check the signature and the record in the public log with cosign (version 3 or later):
cosign verify-blob --key prismx-versions.pub --bundle about-me-v6.sigstore.json about-me-v6.txt
