Terms and house rules

This page sets out the terms for an account on prismx.eu and the house rules for comments. By creating an account you agree to them. How I handle your data is described in the privacy statement.

 

Your account

An account is free and personal. You are responsible for your password and for what happens with your account. Do not pretend to be someone else. To have your account deleted, send me a message through the contact page. I may block or delete an account that is used against these terms.

 

House rules for comments

Thank you for joining the discussion. To keep it useful and pleasant, I ask you to:

  1. Stay on topic: respond to the article and to each other's arguments, not to the person.
  2. Stay respectful: no abuse, personal attacks, discrimination or threats.
  3. Do not share other people's personal data, and be sparing with your own.
  4. No advertising, spam or links unrelated to the topic.
  5. Name your source when you cite figures or facts.
  6. Post nothing that breaks the law or the rights of others, such as copyright.

Comments that do not follow these rules I may shorten, hide or delete without notice, and if it happens again I block the account. Do you see a comment that is out of line, or do you have a question about these rules? Then contact me.

 

Changes

I may update these terms, for example when the website changes. The date at the top shows when the latest version took effect.
